F.I.T Center Sdn. Bhd. (FITEC) or Furniture Industry Technology Center (No. Company 288508-T), is wholly owned subsidiary of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) or Council of Trust for the Bumiputera which is agency under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKLW) and operates under the administration of MARA's Entrepreneur Development Division (BPU). The company was registered on 28th of January 1994 under the companies act 1965 and has been in full operation since 1995. Located at Lot PT 6301, Mukim Batu, Off Km 13, Jalan Batu Caves, 68100 Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur, it is adjacent to Kawasan Industri Kecil MARA, Kuala Lumpur.

FITEC's establishment is a result of studies conducted on the furniture industry and the Bumiputera's craftwork in Malaysia by the Japan International Cooperation Agency's (JICA), Technonet Asian, and Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA). This centre was established with the expertise and monetary assistance from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Malaysian Government through MARA. FITEC acts as an execution agency, which aims to improve the Bumiputera's furniture industry in Malaysia.
